Course Description
This course essentially provides a virtual shadowing opportunity for an outpatient hospital based voice clinic. Varying diagnoses are encountered from young adult to elderly, audio clips of dysphonic voices and strobe examples whenever available. Detailed management strategies including physician collaboration, specific therapeutic techniques utilized and maintenance guidelines are discussed.

19 case studies presented in 90 minutes.
Example: 2 minutes case history, 2 minutes endoscopic exam and/or audio file, 2 minutes case management
Learning Objectives
1) Predict underlying voice condition based on case history and physician findings.
2) Identify whether a patient is better managed with direct vocal therapy, indirect vocal therapy or should be referred back to the physician.
3) Apply videostrobe interpretation as functional basis for treatment goals.
