Course Description
This course provides practical guidelines to assess and diagnose complex voice and swallowing disorders, interpret endoscopic findings, ascertain best practices when addressing the needs of tracheostomy/ventilator patients and develop efficient care plans. The focus of the lectures is to provide the most practical guidance that is immediately applicable in clinical settings. The course is designed for graduate-level speech pathology students, current speech pathologists transitioning from school-based to hospital-based care, and international students or professionals seeking endoscopy interpretation.
